PAY RANGE
The Target Pay Range for this position is $128,100.00-$156,300.00 annually. The full Pay Range is $99,700.00 - $184,700.00 annually. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role.BENEFITS

Employees have access to disability and AD&D insurance. We also offer health care and dependent care flexible spending accounts, as well as health savings accounts, to eligible employees. Employees are able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan and employer-funded retirement plan. Newly hired employees accrue 6.16 hours of paid time off (PTO) on a per pay period basis based on hours worked (up to a maximum of 160 PTO hours per year) and receive ten paid holidays throughout the calendar year. This position requires occasional travel to the Seattle, WA area. Candidates must be located in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, or Arizona.
As the Sr. Manager, Lending Solutions, you’ll step into a role where your ability to lead, build, and influence truly shapes the future. You’ll guide a high-performing lending production team within BECU’s evolving Remote Solutions division—ensuring operational excellence while empowering others to thrive. Your work will touch everything from strategic planning and performance coaching to cultural transformation and innovation. WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Lead with Purpose: Oversee the full performance and development of the Lending Solutions team, ensuring they’re aligned with Credit Union goals and supported in their growth.
- Drive Cross-Team Initiatives: Serve as a key partner for cross-functional projects, ensuring lending objectives are integrated smoothly into broader BECU initiatives—managing everything from project scope to testing and implementation.
- Enhance the Member Experience: Recommend and implement improvements that boost member and internal service experiences, backed by data and aligned with regulatory standards.
- Champion Operational Strategy: Develop training, drive performance, and analyze operations—using insights to steer call routing, improve abandon rates, and increase satisfaction.
- Build Bridges Across BECU: Collaborate across departments—Credit Risk, Underwriting, Audit, Compliance—to align lending performance with enterprise priorities.
- Develop the Next Generation of Leaders: Identify and grow talent through coaching, training, feedback, and stretch opportunities.
- Cultivate Smart Partnerships: Manage vendor relationships and external partners, ensuring quality outcomes and accountability.
- Innovate Lending Operations: Leverage insights to guide lending practices, improve pipeline management, optimize service levels, and plan capacity.
- Partner in Planning: Collaborate on annual budgets and staffing plans that support scalable, sustainable growth.
- Represent Lending Strategy: Serve as a key voice for Lending Solutions across enterprise initiatives, governance groups, and compliance workstreams.
- Navigate Complex Regulations: Stay current and compliant on state and federal lending laws relevant to your work.
- Keep Everyone Connected: Maintain open, clear communication across BECU teams to support shared goals and decision-making.
- Champion Continuous Improvement: Always look for smarter, more efficient ways to serve our members and improve how we work.
- Jump In When Needed: Be ready to take on other projects or responsibilities that support team success.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Typically requires bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent experience.
- Typically requires five years of financial industry and/or lending team management.
- Typically requires three years of people leader experience.
- Compliance with SAFE Act legislation (annual MLO registration required)
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience leading inbound/outbound lending contact center teams
- Knowledge of BECU systems: Livevox, DNA, APRO, Backbase
- Background in incentive program design or sales recognition programs
- Experience with multicultural or multilingual team environments
- Familiarity with Six Sigma or other process improvement frameworks
- Proven ability to lead teams through cultural change and ambiguity
- Deep understanding of coaching for performance, particularly in remote and matrixed teams
