PAY RANGE

The Target Pay Range for this position is $134,200-$164,000 annually. The full Pay Range is $104,200-$194,000 annually. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role.

Employees have access to disability and AD&D insurance. We also offer health care and dependent care flexible spending accounts, as well as health savings accounts, to eligible employees. Employees are able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan and employer-funded retirement plan. Newly hired employees accrue 6.16 hours of paid time off (PTO) on a per pay period basis based on hours worked (up to a maximum of 160 PTO hours per year) and receive ten paid holidays throughout the calendar year. WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Formulate and Sustain Comprehensive Technology Solutions: Work with a collaborative team to create technology solutions that align with business and strategic objectives, and are compliant with industry standards and regulations.
Foster Collaboration with Business and Technology Partners: Align the technology roadmap with the creation of business value through robust and technically adept solutions.
Engage with Enterprise Architects and Other Stakeholders: Ensure alignment with overarching architectural standards and constraints.
Provide Domain-specific Technical Expertise to Project Teams: Communicate the value of architecture and technology in achieving project goals.
Develop Technical Blueprints: Guide the seamless implementation of business solutions across a spectrum of projects.
Collaborate with Production Support Efforts: Address domain-specific architectural challenges and systematically eliminate architectural design debt.
Stay Abreast of Industry Trends and Emerging Technologies: Leverage these for various initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS:Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information security, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in designing and implementing technology architectures.
Demonstrated experience in cloud native technology including microservice architecture, Restful APIs, massively scalable designs, digital platforms.

Desired Qualifications:

Advanced degree preferred.
Experience with implementations of large-scale initiatives.
Familiarity with risk management and security principles.
Working knowledge of architectural frameworks such as The Open Group, NIST, ISO 19xxx, BizBok, or Gartner.
