PAY RANGE
The Target Pay Range for this position is $99,400.00-$121,400.00 annually. The full Pay Range is $77,400.00 - $143,300.00 annually. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. IMPACT YOU’LL MAKE:
In this role, you’ll lead a high energy, community focused branch where your leadership directly shapes member experiences and team success. You’ll create a service driven environment by being present on the floor, coaching your team, and helping members navigate complex financial needs in a fast-paced setting. You’ll strengthen BECU’s presence in the Lakeland Hills area through meaningful community engagement and business development.
You’ll empower your team to grow, develop, and deliver operational excellence while keeping members at the center of everything you do. Your work will directly influence branch performance, culture, and long-term community impact.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Lead Community Presence: Build BECU brand awareness through local partnerships, community engagement, and business development opportunities that drive membership and production.
Lead Branch Operations: Oversee day to day branch performance to ensure timely, accurate, and high quality service for members.
Drive Sales & Member Experience: Meet key sales, service, and member experience goals through intentional coaching, clear expectations, and community engagement strategies.
Coach & Develop Your Team: Provide ongoing feedback, mentoring, and development to help employees build new skills, advance their careers, and meet performance expectations.
Champion Performance Management: Conduct regular check-ins and performance evaluations using BECU’s competency framework to promote growth and accountability.
Optimize Staffing & Scheduling: Review branch volume trends, forecasts, and service reports to maintain strong coverage and manage scheduling needs.
Model Sales & Service Excellence: Encourage a member first environment, celebrate wins, and address behaviors needing improvement through consistent coaching.
Manage Branch Budget: Partner with the District Director to manage the annual branch budget and ensure expenditures stay within approved levels.
Build Strong Partnerships: Collaborate with internal teams, business partners, facilities, and property management to ensure smooth operations and positive relationships.
Ensure Regulatory & Policy Compliance: Maintain ongoing compliance with all BECU policies, procedures, regulations, and training requirements.
Support Hiring & Talent Pipelines: Work with Recruiting to identify and select top talent aligned with branch and district needs.
Promote Cross-Functional Understanding: Maintain general knowledge of all credit union functions to communicate accurately with staff and members.
Enhance Communication & Collaboration: Foster open, transparent communication with employees across the organization to support strategic goals.
Contribute to Process Improvement: Seek opportunities to improve branch processes and member experiences by contributing ideas and supporting continuous improvement.
Fulfill Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned to support branch and organizational success.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience required.
Minimum three years of leadership experience required. Leading a team of at least four direct reports preferred.
Minimum four years of experience in a sales, retail or banking environment required.
Comply with SAFE Act legislation, which requires annual registration as a Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO).
Desired Qualifications:
Financial institution experience preferred.
Proficiency in Spanish or additional languages preferred.
Ability to plan, organize and implement projects in a timely manner.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
Strong training, mentoring, and sales skills.
Excellent conceptual and problem solving skills. Ability to resolve complex problems with minimal guidance.
Ability to exercise confidentiality and discretionary judgment.
Effective relationship development and marketing skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff in these areas.
Effective leadership and negotiation skills.
Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the branch.
