PAY RANGE
The Target Pay Range for this position is $94,000-$114,900 annually. The full Pay Range is $73,300-$135,700 annually. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role.BENEFITS

Newly hired employees accrue 6.16 hours of paid time off (PTO) on a per pay period basis based on hours worked (up to a maximum of 160 PTO hours per year) and receive ten paid holidays throughout the calendar year. IMPACT YOU’LL MAKE:
As the Manager of Collection & Recovery Support, you will be leading the day-to-day operations of Collection & Recovery Support services, while demonstrating thorough knowledge of federal and state laws pertaining to lending, bankruptcy, and collections. It's an opportunity to make a positive impact and contribute to the success of the team.
***This is a hybrid role, requiring 3 days a week in office at our Tukwila headquarters location. Additional in office days may be required on an occasional as-needed basis.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Lead a Team for Positive Change: You will guide a team to process all charge-offs, money transfers, garnishments, and insurance knowledge of federal and state laws pertaining to lending, bankruptcy, and collections to ensure compliance within the department and make recommendations to increase efficiency.
- Support Employee Growth: Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and training within the department, ensuring that your team’s growth is continually fostered, and their contributions are valued.
- Drive Efficiency and Results: Recommend and implement policies and procedures that increase efficiency and desired results in the Asset Recovery area, creating an impact on BECU's journey.
- Create and Maintain Metrics: Establish and maintain supporting metrics and reporting to measure the impact of the operations, contributing to the positive change in BECU’s journey.
- Conduct Personnel Evaluations: Meet with staff on a timely basis for the purpose of conducting personnel evaluations, using BECU Competencies as performance measures to ensure their growth is continually fostered.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related discipline required, or equivalent work or educational experience.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in the collection required. Experience in legal, repossession, bankruptcy, foreclosure and real estate owned properties preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of leadership experience required.
- Proficient verbal and written skills to effectively communicate in the English language.
- Additional hours as necessary to accomplish objectives, goals, and projects.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience supervising at a financial institution.
- Effective leadership and negotiation skills.
