PAY RANGE
The Target Pay Range for this position is $84,300.00-$103,000.00 annually. The full Pay Range is $65,700.00 - $121,700.00 annually. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Employees have access to disability and AD&D insurance. We also offer health care and dependent care flexible spending accounts, as well as health savings accounts, to eligible employees. Employees are able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan and employer-funded retirement plan. Newly hired employees accrue 6.16 hours of paid time off (PTO) on a per pay period basis based on hours worked (up to a maximum of 160 PTO hours per year) and receive ten paid holidays throughout the calendar year. IMPACT YOU'LL MAKE:
As the Supervisor of ACH Operations at BECU, you’ll lead a team that helps ensure smooth, secure, and compliant ACH (Automated Clearing House) processes for our members and internal teams. You’ll be the go-to expert for operations support, building scalable systems, guiding process improvements, and delivering high-quality service with confidence and care. Your leadership will help power BECU’s day-to-day operations and directly impact our ability to serve members with speed, accuracy, and trust.

To join our dynamic team, we require candidates to reside in Washington State. If you’re within a reasonable driving distance from Tukwila, we are requesting that you come into our HQ on Tuesdays & Wednesdays. For those candidates that live outside the commute distance of TFC, this role will be remote. Remote or onsite, we are committed to ensuring you are fully engaged and included in our collaborative environment.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Lead Daily Operations: Oversee ACH processing functions to ensure tasks are completed accurately, efficiently, and in line with compliance and service expectations.
- Empower and Develop Your Team: Provide consistent coaching, mentoring, and feedback to foster a high-performing and engaged team. Guide team members through performance evaluations, development plans, and growth conversations.
- Drive Process Improvement: Identify and implement system enhancements and streamlined processes to improve operational workflows and team productivity.
- Be a Trusted Subject Matter Expert: Serve as a knowledgeable resource for ACH operations, providing guidance, resolving escalations, and helping the team navigate complexities with confidence.
- Champion Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure ongoing compliance with federal, state, and industry regulations. Coordinate with internal teams and third-party vendors to maintain regulatory alignment.
- Support Audits and Reporting: Provide documentation and insight for audit reviews. Maintain accurate reports and statistical records aligned with operational requirements.
- Ensure Policy and Procedure Accuracy: Maintain and update written procedures for all operational functions to ensure clarity, consistency, and compliance.
- Oversee Records Management: Manage departmental file archiving processes and retention schedules, adhering to compliance standards.
- Jump in When Needed: Provide hands-on support to the team during high-volume periods or critical situations.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with other departments and teams to ensure alignment, smooth operations, and shared best practices.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in business or equivalent education/experience
- Typically requires 3+ years of experience in operational and/or processing functions
- Typically requires 1+ year of leadership or supervisory experience
Desired Qualifications:
- Prior experience in ACH operations or financial services environment
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Working knowledge of relevant compliance regulations (NACHA, Reg E, etc.)
- Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma or Continuous Improvement methodologies
